Time Flies Tag

I created this tag for the Compendium Of Curiosities Challenge. Since there are only a couple weeks left in the challenge I thought I would make a Time Flies tag. I will be sad when the challenge comes to an end. I have enjoyed every week of it. Well on with this weeks tag. I LOVE working with alcohol ink and metal so this was definitely the week for me! The challenge was on page 56, Altered Metal Alcohol Inks.

Click HERE and HERE to see some past post ideas on what to do with your tags. They are great to save for inspiration and to use as reference for techniques.

Sooooo unique and beautiful. I absolutely love all of the metal embellishments and the wings are incredible. I think this would be amazing on canvas!!

Howdy,
Great texture, dimension, movement and interest. I bought that TH book too - but haven't tried any projects yet.

Do the alcohol inks have fumes? Do you need ventilation to use them?

Would love for you to visit my blog and comment when you have a moment or 2.

Peace,
LuLu

Stunning! Am I seeing it right that the bottom is a bit of one fade and the top is the bulk of another? Too cool to mix your fades like that!

Christie, this is absolutely sensational! WOW! Talk about some gorgeous texture going on! The embossing is ingenious-- the wings are amazing, and the riveting is a great touch. I love the background, too, and the numerals and charms just add to the beauty. You've truly created a masterpiece, my friend!

Howdy,
These mini-books are exquisite, charming, lovely - just scrumptious. Great job.

Good thing you have that chomper, too. I love using corner rounders to chnge corners - but my hand does get tired on big projects...
