I created this set of bookmarks using the fabulous Distress Stickles as my main coloring medium. After stamping my images with Archival Ink I softly inking the bookmark with Distress Inks. I then used a variety of colors of Distress Stickles to "paint" my images. I was able to achieve shading, depth and texture by using a couple of shades of the same color. Love the effect that it gave. Especially on the pine cones and the fall leaves.

Love this effect.
I didn't know there were distress stickles too oh dear so many products I want to use so little money and space to store them all. Hubby is so far patient about me taking the whole of the spare bedroom, though I have still got a bed in there should we need it for visitors I don;t know where I would put everything that is on it.;-)
I love your work and thanks for the inspiration.
These look amazing!
These are absolutely beautiful, Christie. Love the stamping over the text backgrounds too.
