How would you like the look of embossed metal without embossing metal? How about being able to use all of those rubber stamps that you own to create the look of embossed metal? Well I've got the technique for you!!!
I cut my silver card stock to the size that I wanted, next I got my rubber stamp (Acanthus Background by Rubber Stampede) good and juiced up with my embossing pad. I placed it on my card stock taking care not to slide it around. I had to double stamp it because my paper was longer than the stamp. But you can't even tell where the seam is. Sprinkle the top with clear embossing powder and tap off any extra. I then simply heated it till it is clear. It gives the look of embossed metal when done. This makes great backgrounds for cards.

That's GROOVY!! Thanks for sharing Christie!!
What a great look Christie. Now a great technique when I'm too lazy to drag out the die cut machine to emboss - LOL!

Please post which Sissix die you used to make the flowers (part number and/or name). I have been hand cutting mine from a Wendy Vecchi stamp set and somehow doing them with a machine sounds a lot easier!
