4 more 12 days of Christmas Past

Pin It! Here in the suburbs of Chicago, we are having our first snow of the season!!! Whoo HOoo! I love it!!! I wanted to show you how I'm covering and labeling the backs of my tags for allt he 12 tags of Christmas. Tim was kind enought to name each of the 2007 tags but unfortunately stopped after that. If anyone wants to help me name the other tags I am open to suggestions....please, help! I have left room for the name on each tag. I simply cut the tag using his tag die and cut it in my cuttlebug. I ordered the 7 Gypsies Photo carosel and plan on using that to display all my tags.

"Shabby Snowman" 2007 - Day 10 ... this little snowman gave me some trouble. It took 3 tries to get it to work properly. It reminded me of the 3 bears. The first time I didn't wait long enough for the paint to dry and wiped off to much. So the second time I put on too much paint and used the heat gun to dry. Well I wiped and wiped and the scrubbed and scrubbed. But couldn't get the dang paint to budge. The third time was the charm!"Wreath of Joy" is the 2007 , Day 11 tag I loved all of the crackle paint and distress powder in the wreath. Plus I got to use my bow-easy for the first time...I will do a tutorial on it, so easy! This is day 9 of the 2009 collection using grunge letters and metal tape. If anyone wants to give it a name I'm open to ideas...This georgous no name tag is the 2009 day 12 tag using the Tim Holtz grunge flowers. I used the Tattered Florals die with my Cuttlebug to create this jaw droppers. I love the Prima bling!

I love these, Christie - gorgeous subtle colours, and lots of different materials. Real works of art.

Suggestions for your tags. How bout Holiday Bling for the Prima bling on it. The other could be Noel Numbers.

Good Luck

These are great! I have seen them on Tim's blog, but kind of by-passed a close look since there's SO much great stuff on there. I think I'm going to do a batch of these tags and use them as ornaments on my tree next year. Thanks for the inspiration!

Love the work that you are doing on the tags. I think the grunge numbers tag should be,
"Metallica Christmas to You" and the one with the roses could be, "Vintage Elegance".
