Blended Blatik Tag

I created this tag for the Compendium of Curiousities Challenge week 11. I really loved this technique because it is another option from masking your design. If you want to learn more about it you can read about it on page 36 in Tim's best book ever!

I finally leave a comment! I'll try to do so each posting. I started as a mixed media artist 7.5 years ago, then altered art, then scrapbooker.
I enjoy your postings-as they are very familiar to my work, and I feel a connection!

Beautiful Christie. I have this book, but have not found the time to play along with the challenges. This tag is striking with these beautiful images and rich colors. Well done.

Hopped over from the yahoo group! this tag looks sooooooooo cool! loving that color.
So, I have a question (I am a yahoo group newbie), when they start these challenges, will they also instruct how to do the techniques? So, you are actually learning something new everytime you do a challenge?

Now that is just showing off and I totally love it! You added the bandana and how clever is that! I attemped to use him and did not like the flat-head - never crossed my mind to add the bandana! Brilliant!

Oh, my, he makes a FABULOUS blended batik image! You did this technique perfectly, Christie, and the colors are awesome. The sentiment works so well too-- he looks so thoughtful!-- and the little gleam in his eye is a great touch! Love it!

Those are beautiful and inspiring tags Christie. They would also look really cute on one of the new receipt holders from 7 gypsies! Thats what I am doing with mine. Thanks for sharing your work...
