Pinecone Paper Roses

I have been having a blast making roses with Tim Holtz' Pinecone die. I originally bought it because I loved the tiny pinecone but after playing with it I have become addicted to making paper roses with it. I use Core'dination paper so I can sand the edges and create a beautiful depth of color. Seed beads added a little realistic center to the center of the flowers. I created a quick little video tutorial showing how to create these simple, beautiful flowers.   ENJOY!!

An awesome tutorial Christie. I like the tip about wetting the paper. I bought that die and didn't use it over Christmas but I will certainly use it now. Thanks Martine

Loved viewing your video on how to make these flowers. Great job! Unfortunately, I only have a Cuttlebug.
