I made this tag for the Compendium Of Curiosities Challenge. I have never done this technique before but I will definately be doing it again. I used a swirl motion when painting my tag black and I love how it shows through when you wipe away the final coat of paint.

Christie, this is FABULOUS! Those images look great together and work beautifully for this technique. You're so right-- the swirly application of the base layer looks really cool with the wash on top of it.
