Box those Tiny Ink Pads

I want to show you how I store all those tiny ink pads. I have a bunch of the Dew Drop ink pads by Tsukineko. I was trouble finding a way to store them properly, I tried stacking them...they fell over. I tried putting them in a bin, jumbled...the tops came off. Finally, I came up with this great solution! I got 3 unfinished cigar boxes from the craft store. I painted them black and decopaged scrap paper to the top and bottom. I used Mod Podge to seal it. I then took some rub on letters and put the type of ink pads on the front of the box. I can now safely store my smaller pads neatly and efficiently. The boxes stack and do not take up much room.

This could also be used to store your alcohol inks, pens, markers the ideas are endless.

  15. Hi Christie,

Your organizing boxes are great. You said you used rub on for the titles on the boxes...do you have time to tell me how to do that. I thought all rub ons were stock words. How do you customize.

Thank you so much for all your great ideas.
