I finally finished all my charms for the Tim Holtz Cruise charm swap. I could have made them all the same but you know me...always up for a challenge. I made each one different. I think they all turned out pretty cool. I do have a few favorites but I must say I put as much thought and attention into each and every one of them. I am going to be a bit sad to see them go but I'm sure that the wonderful talented women that will be receiving them will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. I have a video showing them in more detail. And here the post where you can find a video showing just how to make them yourself !
What a fun and amazing little collection! I would have a hard time letting them go, but I understand the challenge and fun of making them all unique! They are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThey were fun to make! And I am going to have a hard time letting them go! I am sure I will be making more of them in the future to add to my projects. :)
ReplyDeleteWow- you have been very busy!!! What a fabulous collection!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job--your wire wrapping of the gear produced a cool effect! Thanks for sharing!

These look awesome.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful charms.
ReplyDeletePlease Christy would you tell me, but did you use glossy accents to adhere everything to the clear fragments? And is the embossed metal on the back a pop can??
Thanks for the inspiration...beautiful.
Laura
I really love these. My fragments do not have the holes so have to get my thinking cap on. Enjoy the cruise, I will look forward to a report and photos.

What a great bunch of charms, I wish I were going on the cruise just to get a charm. HA! Your metal that is embossed, is it metal tape or a pop can? Would love to try it. Shari (cricutrookie)

I rarely comment but I love your videos and really appreciate the time you took to show each of the charms. Thanks so much for taking all the time to do all of your videos. I live in a small town and it often feels like I'm getting to take a craft class when I visit your blog.
ReplyDeleteOMG Christie... what lucky ladies!!!! these are all so charming (pun intended)...I hope to go on his cruise next year (God willing) Very very creative !
ReplyDeleteI would also like to know how you attached the metal to the fragment.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little works of art!!!
These charms are fantastic Christie!!!!
ReplyDeleteChristie,
ReplyDeleteAs everyone else has said, these are gorgeous. I would love more details as well. I heard you mention Ten Second Studio metal. Is that what you used on all of them? We all want to know what adhesive you used. Some of the bloggers list the products they used below the photos. It would be great if you could do that.
Thanks!
How many of these book marks are you making? I admire your dedication to your goal. Can't wait to see your next bunch

These are really beautiful, Christie. What did you use to put the beads and other items on with (like the keys and word tags)?
